AB 15mm/18mm Napoleonic Russian Currasier 1812

Hello all,
I have been working on three regiments for a client again not based 1, Little Russia (green facing) 2, Astrakhan (yellow facing) 3, Novogrod (pink facing) . The currasier before 1812 did not have currasier plates most of them had black enamel apart from some regiments who wore captured French ones . I didn't want to show them jet black so went for oily steel with black mixed and then some black washes .
The horse's were kept dark colours ( the Russians didn't normally care for coloures allocated to certain units, even the trumpeter didn't have to be on white or grey horses ) so I painted them dark and light bay and some dark chestnuts .
Well that's it for now back to painting French line in great coats .
  Regards Gav .
